About the EA1-S3ML-N

EA1-S3ML-N is a C-more micro non-touch screen operator interface that is manufactured by Automation Direct. This 3.1 inch interface has an STN LCD monochrome, 128 x 64 pixel display. The screen has 5 selectable colors (red, green, amber, lime, or yellow), as well as an LED backlight, 5 user defined function keys, an RS-232 (RJ12 port), and a NEMA 4/4X IP65 rated case (for indoor use only). The display only supports landscape mode.

The functional devices on this graphic panel include bar meters, real time graphs, line graphs, key configuration objects, functions, ability to adjust the contrast, a screen selector, a screen change push button, dynamic text, lookup text, static text, a recipe button, a dynamic bitmap, a static bitmap, a bitmap button, a bar graph, inc/dec values, numeric entry, a numeric display, a graphic indicator light, an indicator light, an indicator button, a switch, and a push button.

When troubleshooting the panel, follow the user guide instructions. When there is no user program, that means that there is no project downloaded into the panel. Projects can be downloaded into the panel using the C-more Micro-Graphic Programming Software. If there is lost firmware and the red “Update Mode” screen is displayed, cycle power to the panel and attempt to reload the firmware. If the firmware update is not successful, press the F1 and F5 keys while cycling power to the panel. The Update Mode screen should return, and you can attempt to reload the panel firmware again.
