About the H0-CTRIO
The H0-CTRIO is a High Speed Counter Interface by Host Automation. This module is used to accept high speed pulse type input signals for counting or timing applications. The H0-CTRIO is also designed to send high speed pulse type output signals for stepper/servo motor control, monitoring, alarm, and other discrete control functions.
The H0-CTRIO provides 2500 V I/O-to-logic isolation, 1000 V among input channels and all outputs. The H0-CTRIO High Speed Counter Interface features 4 DC sink/source inputs at 100 kHz maximum. The input voltage range is 9-30 VDC and the maximum voltage is 30 VDC.
The H0-CTRIO features 2 points, isolated, either both current sourcing or both current sinking field-effect transistors (FET) outputs. The voltage range is 5 VDC-36 VDC and the maximum voltage is 36 VDC. The maximum load current is 1 A per point. The pulse output control range is 20 Hz to 25 Hz.
The H0-CTRIO features 5 LED indicators on the front of the device:
- OK Model OK
- ERR User program error
- A Channel 1 function 1 resource state
- B Channel 1 function 2 resource state
- Y0 and Y1 Output status
The CTRIO Workbench tool is used to configure the H0-CTRIO. You must perform the configuration with the PLC in RUN mode. Use the H0-CTRIO Workbench to assign the input and output points, map the CPU to memory, and configure other functions Be sure to configure the H0-CTRIO in program mode. Also, be sure to map the memory before starting the program.
