About the D2-08TD1

The D2-08TD1 is a DL205 discrete output sinking module from Koyo/Automation Direct.  This unit is designed with eight output points.  It has a nominal output range of 12-24 VDC.   DL205 modules are considered legacy components and may not be available from the OEM, but they are typically in-stock here at AX Control. 

The D2-08TD1 uses an NPN open collector output type.   IT has a peak voltage of 40 VDC and an ON voltage drop of 1.5 VDC max.   The unit has an OFF to ON and On to OFF response time of 1 ms.  The terminals are removable.  Status indicators, located on the front top of the faceplate, are on the logic side.  

The D2-08TD1 weighs approximately 2.3 ounces or 65 grams before the addition of any sort of packing materials.   The unit includes one fuse per common and has one 5 amp fast blow fuse.  This fuse is replaceable.  

A derating chart for this unit is available within Automation Direct manuals associated with this product.  This chart will assist you in determining dissipation rates at any giving temperature. This chart is especially useful if you are running the device near the top or bottom of the module’s given temperature range.
