About the D2-12TA

The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo D2-12TA is a discrete AC output module. The module is a member of the DirectLogic 205 series, capable of interfacing with DirectLogic 205 series programmable logic controllers. There are 12 output points featured on this module, with two groups of six points feeding to two isolated commons. An operating voltage between 15 and 132 VAC is required, with 132 VAC acting as the peak voltage. The operating voltage has an AC frequency range between 47 and 63 Hz. When operating under 50 mA, an on time voltage drop of less than 1.5 VAC can occur. If operating over 50 mA, the voltage drop measures under 4 VAC.

When operating in a logic controller, the module is capable of outputting a rated voltage of 18 to 110V AC. Each of the 12 output points can sustain a maximum load current of 0.3 amps per point, while each isolated common has a maximum load current of 1.8 amps per common.

Following all outlined storage and installation parameters is necessary to maintain the integrity of the D2-12TA module. Installation of the module into the PLC is simple and easy to do. Removal is made even easier, with the terminal block detaching from the unit without affecting the wiring of the entire controller.
