About the D2-32ND3
The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo D2-32ND3 is a DC input module. It is part of the DirectLogic 205 series of modules developed to interface with the DL205 programmable logic controllers. This module features 32 sink/source input points that evenly divide to feed to one of four isolated commons. With a supported input voltage range of 20-28 VDC, peak input voltage of the device is measured at 30 VDC. The sustained input current of the module registers at 8.0 mA when fed 24 VDC.
Voltage input levels should be monitored to maintain the device’s hardware. D2-32ND3’s ON voltage needs a 19 VDC minimum, while OFF voltage requires no more than 7 VDC. Current input levels also play a part in the functionality of the module. Minimum ON current levels must reach 3.5 mA, while OFF current levels should rise no higher than 1.5 mA. Featured on the front plate of the module is a 40-pin connector and an LED status indicator.
To maintain the integrity of D2-32ND3, be sure to follow all outlined installation and storage parameters. An efficient installation and removal system is a key design element of the series. The module’s terminal block is easily removable, with no user rewiring necessary. Automation Direct provided original technical support for this device. Be sure to reference the D2-32ND3 manual and datasheet for all safety and installation guidelines.
