The F2-02DAS-2, 0-5V, 0-10V Isolated Analog Output Module produced by Automation Direct for the DirectLogic 205 (DL205) series contains valuable hardware features. Some of the features are:

• Analog outputs are isolated from channel to channel and channel to PLC logic.

• Improved usability and portability, the terminal block is easily removable to ensure the F2-02DAS-2, 0-5V, and 0-10V Isolated Analog Output Module is easily removable without disconnecting the wiring.  

• If a DL250-1 or a DL260 CPU is used in the DL205 PLC, both channels can be updated in one scan.

• Outputs are sourced through an external loop supply.

The F2-02DAS-2, 0-5V, 0-10V Isolated Analog Output Module is a 2-channel analog output voltage module. The output range is 0-5 VDC and 0-10 VDC. The number of channels is 2. The resolution is 16-bit (1 in 65536). The power budget requirement is 60mA at 5 VDC (supplied by the base). The environmental air requirement is no corrosive gases permitted.

The PLC update rate is one channel per scan maximum (multiplexing) and two channels per scan maximum (pointer- DL240/DL250-1/DL260 only). The output points required are 16 binary data bits, two-channel ID bits, and 32 points (Y) output module.

Jumpers on the F2-02DAS-2, 0-5V, and 0-10V Isolated Analog Output modules are used to select the voltage ranges for each channel. The voltage range of each channel can be independently set. The available operating ranges are 0-5V and 0-10V.

The F2-02DAS-2, 0-5V, 0-10V Isolated Analog Output Module has firmware requirements depending on the CPU used. These requirements are:

• Version 2.7 or later is required if planning to use a DL230 CPU.

• Version 3.0 or later is required if you plan to use the pointer method for writing values and if you plan to use a DL240 CPU.

• Version 1.33 is required if you plan to use DL250 CPU.
