About the F2-08TR

The F2-08TR is a Relay Output Module from Automation Direct/Direct Logic.  It is part of a series of modules designed to work together as I/O to field termination. 

The F2-08TR module has eight outputs per module.  The unit has two isolated commons with four points per common.  The unit uses For A (SPST normally open) contacts.   It has an operating voltage of 7 Amps at 12-28 VDC, 12-250 VAC.   The unit has a peak voltage of 150 VDC, 265 VAC.  

The F2-08TR includes a front faceplate with eight status indicators.  Below these are the wiring terminal points.  This unit is compatible with DirectLogic/AutomationDirect’s ZipLink wiring solutions.  ZipLink utilizes DIN rail mount connector modules and prewired cables to create a plug-and-play type system.  Cable connectors or termination wires are plugged in quickly and efficiently and use much less space than standard terminal blocks.  In many cases, the ends of pigtail cables have been color codes with soldered tip wires.  

Environmental specifications for the F2-08TR  maintain relative humidity between 30 and 95%, non-condensing. The unit is rated under NEMA ICS3-304 for noise immunity.  The ambient operating temperature should remain between zero and 55 degrees Celsius.
