About the H2-SERIO
The H2-SERIO is a DirectLogic-created Serial Module for an EBC System. This module may have also been sold under the manufacturing names Automation Direct and Host Automation. The H2-SERIO is a Communication Module for a DL205 I/O System. It is meant to be paired with an H2-EBC100. It contains three ports that are all RS-232s. Because it is attached to the H2-EBC100, seven other modules can be attached to the system allowing for up to twenty-four serial ports. It has a power consumption rating of 80mA @ 5VDC. It has a Baud rating of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200. This device should be stored in a location between -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
When the H2-SERIO module is connected to the base series, it supports functions such as K-Sequences, which will have the port respond to client devices that will run the K Sequence protocol. It also supports general-purpose software to allow the attached Do-more controller Input String Device, the STREAMIN, and the Output String Device, the STREAMOUT. For more of the features supported on the Do-more software and H2-SERIO module, refer to the attached chapter for the H2 series specialty modules.
For more information on the H2-SERIO and the DL205 system it attaches to, please consult the datasheet created by DirectLogic for the H2-SERIO. Only skilled experts should attempt to install the H2-SERIO to prevent system damage or personal injury.
