About the T1F-08DA-1
The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo T1F-08DA-1 is an eight channel analog current output module. A member of the Terminator I/O series, the module can interface with a number of other modules and programmable logic controllers. A single ended output type allows for all eight channels to terminate into a single common. 12-bit resolution converts outgoing digital signals into analog current signals digestible by peripheral devices.
Voltage and current inputs and outputs should be monitored to prevent device damage. T1F-08DA-1 supports a base power requirement of 75 mA at 5 VDC. The module itself supports two output current ranges. Supported current output ranges are 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA. The peak output voltage the device is capable of signalling is 30 VDC. When installing the module, a separate mounting base must be purchased. A major design feature of the Terminator series is the simple snap installation and removal of the modules. Installation and removal is a breeze, with part replacement occurring in seconds.
Preservation of the T1F-08DA-1 is dependent upon following proper installation and storage instructions. Be sure to mount the device horizontally, allowing air to circulate freely around the module. Facility temperatures should also be monitored to maintain the module. When operating in a facility, ambient temperatures can safely fall as low as 0℃, or 32℉, and raise as high as 50℃, or 131℉. When not in use and placed in storage, temperatures can range from -20℃ to 70℃, or -4℉ to 158℉. All wiring and installation parameters are available in the device manual and datasheet.
