Product Description

The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo T1F-16AD-1 is a sixteen channel analog current input module. A part of the Terminator I/O series, the module is capable of interfacing with a number of modules and programmable logic controllers. The sixteen channels are single ended, with all channels terminating at a single common. Inputted analog current signals are converted into digital signals using the integrated 14-bit resolution. The module supports three input ranges: -20 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA. A frequency response of -3 db at 500 Hz, with -20db/decade can be expected with the current inputs.

Voltage and current inputs should be monitored to maintain the integrity of the device. T1F-16AD-1 has a base power requirement of 75 mA at 5 VDC. The absolute maximum voltage rating that can be inputted to the module is 8V. Installation of the module is simple, but a separately sold mounting rack is required to do so. Once installed in the rack, removal of the device requires only a snap, allowing easy access for part replacement.

Following recommended storage and installation parameters helps to maintain the integrity of the device. When installing the module, be sure to mount it horizontally to allow air to circulate around it. Ambient temperatures of the facility should be monitored while T1F-16AD-1 is operating. Temperatures can range from 0℃ to 55℃, or 32℉ to 131℉. When not in use, storage temperatures should also be regularly checked. When not in use, temperatures can range from -20℃ to 70℃, or -4℉ to 158℉. All wiring and installation directions can be found in the corresponding series manual and device datasheet.
