About the T1F-8AD4DA-1
T1F-8AD4DA-1 is a combination analog current module developed by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. Eight analog current input channels and four analog current output channels make up the communication points of this combination module. It is from the Terminator I/O series, allowing for a wide array of programmable logic controllers and modules it can interface with. When updating data on the module, the CPU of the PLC will update one channel with a single scan.
Input and output rates vary depending on incoming data and user specifications. When inputting data, three input ranges are supported. Included ranges are -20 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA. The absolute maximum rating the module can support is 8V. All eight of the inputs terminates in a single common. Incoming data is precisely converted from analog current to digital signals using the 14-bit resolution.
The four output channels offer some user configurability. Each channel can be wired to act as either a sink or source output. A single ended output type is available, as all outputs end at a single common. The supported output range of T1F-8AD4DA-1 is 4 to 20 mA. A 12-bit resolution converts outgoing digital signals back to an analog current medium.
All storage and installation parameters should be met to maintain the integrity of T1F-8AD4DA-1. Before installing the module, be sure to have purchased the corresponding mounting base. When installing, be sure to mount the module horizontally. This allows air to freely flow around the module, creating a cooling effect. Operating temperatures must fall within a certain range to preserve the device. Temperatures can range as low as 0℃, or 32℉, and as high as 60℃, or 140℉.
