About the T1F-8AD4DA-2
The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo T1F-8AD4DA-2 is an analog voltage combination module. Eight analog voltage inputs and four analog voltage outputs are included on the module. This unit belongs to the Terminator I/O series and is capable of interfacing with a number of modules, devices, and controllers.
Varying input and output voltage rates are to be expected from T1F-8AD4DA-2. Two input ranges are supported by the module. These ranges include 0 to 5 V and 0 to 10 V ±5V, ±10V. The input points of the module are protected from minor power surges by a fault protected input. This allows an absolute maximum rating of 130V (rms) or 100 VDC. All eight of the input channels terminate into a single ended common. When converting the incoming data, the 14-bit resolution works to keep the data as precise as possible.
Output channels on the device have unique characteristics as well. Two output ranges, 0 to 5 V and 0 to 10 V ±5V, ±10V, are supported by the module. An unprotected output, the peak output voltage sustainable by T1F-8AD4DA-2 registers at 15 VDC. The four output channels terminate at one common, producing a single-ended output. These outgoing signals are converted from digital back to an analog voltage medium via the device’s 12-bit resolution.
Following all storage and installation guidelines will protect the device from unnecessary damages. Be sure to purchase the correct mounting base to install the module. When installing the module, mount the unit horizontally. This orientation allows air to freely flow around the module, creating a cooling effect. Operating temperatures should be monitored while T1F-8AD4DA-2 is in use. Ambient temperatures can safely range from 0℃ to 60℃, or 32℉ to 140℉. All installation and wiring parameters can be found in the corresponding device manual and datasheet. The manufacturers provided original technical support for the module.
