About the T1K-08TA

Model number T1K-08TA is one of the DirectLogic 205 Discrete I/O modules. This model has eight AC outputs with two four-point isolated commons per module. Whenever the T1K-08TA model is being used a base must be used, the bases that can be used with this unit are the T1k-08B or T1K-08B1 bases. This unit can be used with two different CPU types, either T1h-DM1 or T1H-DM1E. The module must also be used with software produced by Automation Direct. The software used with this model is the Do-more Designer Windows-based programming software; this software can work with Vista (Home, Basic, Premium, 32 or 64-bit), Windows 7 (Home, Professional, Ultimate, 32 or 64-bit), Windows 8  (Home, Professional, Enterprise 32 or 64-bit), or Windows XP (Home or Professional, 32-bit). While some of the other DirectLogic modules can be used with Windows 8 RT, this model and its associated software do not support the Windows 8 RT edition software. 

The T1K-08TA module is easily installed with the associated base, all that needs to be done is to slide the module into its terminal base until the unit clicks into position, hook the upper DIN rail tabs over the top DIN rails, and then press the assembly firmly onto the DIN rail; proceed to slide the module along the IDN rail until it engages with the adjacent module. The module can be used with an angled mounting bracket to support titling on the mounting rail for easy access and wiring.
