About the T1K-16ND3

The T1K-16ND3 is a DC Input Module designed and manufactured by DirectLogic/Automation Direct.  This is one of several modules available from this system here at AX Control, all designed to work together as part of a DIN rail system of field bus termination. 

The T1K-16ND3 DC Input module is a terminator discrete input module.  It is a 16-point module rated 12-24 VDC with 4 isolated commons with 4 points per common.  The unit is sinking/sourcing.  The unit is designed to work in conjunction with a T1K-16B or T1K-16-1 terminal base. 

The  T1K-16ND3 is an internally bussed 24 VDC input module.  The module has a jumper to select internal 24 VDC power.  This can be set to sink or source current.  

The  T1K-16ND3 weighs approximately 0.25 pounds before any packing material is added.  The unit has sixteen inputs in the module.  These can be sink or source inputs.  If using external power there are 4 isolated commons with four points per common.  With internally bussed power all sixteen points will be internally connected.  

The  T1K-16ND3 module is designed for use in locations where no corrosive gases are present.  It has an insulation resistance of 500 VDC, 10MΩ.  The unit meets NEMA ICS3-304 Noise immunity specifications.  It is UL listed and CE marked.  A derating chart is available in associated publications from the OEM, like product manuals.
