The ZL-2CBL2 is a ZipLink Cable from Automation Direct designed to provide a plug-and-play option for Direct Logic 205 PLC systems. 

The ZL-2CBL2 is typically used within Standard DL205 16-channel systems.  It is 0.5 meter (1.6 feet) long, with a #24 AWG conductor size.  The unit holds an insulation rating of 30V.  Other options are available for the DL205 16 channel system, including a 1 meter and 2-meter cable option.  Let us know if you would like us to source these options for you. 

Ziplink cables like the ZL-2CBL2 were designed by Automation Direct to allow for quicker PLC to I/O wiring that had better and more efficient uses of space.  These cables are used to maintain a simple point-to-point connection between modules with capabilities to isolate, switch, or fuse. 

The original manufacturer will have more information within their manuals and user guides regarding the proper selection and use of Ziplinks like the ZL-2CBL2.  This will also help you determine compatibility with the modules within your system.   Please note ZipLink cables do not support connections to analog/high current modules.  These must be traditionally wired.
