About the D3-16NA-1
The D3-16NA-1 is an AC Input Module designed as part of the DirectLogic DL305 family. This is only one of many modules available for this system, which allows you to design the system to your own specifications. The DL305 includes DC inputs, AC inputs, AC/DC inputs, handheld programmers, CPUs, ASCII BASIC modules, DC, AC, and Relay outputs, Specialty CPUs, networking modules, and bases that range from five to ten slots.
The D3-16NA-1 is a 110 VAC input module. This unit includes two isolated commons per module and has an external input voltage supply. The peak voltage for this unit is 132 VAC, with the on voltage level at >80 VAC. Off voltage is set at <15 VAC.
The D3-16NA-1 has a removable terminal on its front faceplate. This is located below multiple indicator lights. DirectLogic manuals include wiring diagrams and a derating chart for this unit that will help provide you with important information regarding how ambient temperature will affect the performance of the unit.
DL305 modules have specific wiring requirements that include maximum AWG and distance for each cable length. Please refer to manuals or user guides for specific information. Do not run wires near other high energy wiring or run DC wiring close to AC wiring if possible.
