The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F3-04DAS is an isolated analog output module. A member of the DirectLogic 305 series, this module is capable of interfacing with a number of programmable logic controllers and peripheral devices. Four isolated channels are available on the module, with each capable of outputting either analog current or analog voltage signals. This outgoing data is converted into these analog signals using the module’s 12-bit resolution, keeping data precise.

Voltage and current levels of F3-04DAS should be monitored to prevent device damage. As it offers dual analog signal mediums, multiple output ranges are supported on the module. These ranges include ±5/10 V 0 to 5 V, 0 to 10 V, and 1 to 5 V for analog voltage and 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA for analog current. All channels on the module are factory set to output 0-10V. Since each channel is individually configurable, jumper switches on the module allows the user to change the output range for all.

Be sure to follow all outlined installation and storage parameters, preventing unnecessary device damage. Ambient temperatures of the operating facility should be monitored to maintain safe levels. Acceptable operating temperatures can range from 32℉ to 140℉, or 0℃ to 60℃. When not in use, a climate controlled setting is ideal for storage. Ambient storage temperatures can fall as low as -4℉, or -20℃, and raise as high as 158℉, or 70℃. All installation and wiring instructions can be found in the user manual and datasheet.
