The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F3-08TRS-2 is a relay output module. This eight channel device is a member of the DirectLogic 305 series. It offers compatibility with other 305 series logic controllers and modules, as well as outside peripheral devices. A relay module, the device can be used for both AC and DC loads. All eight channels on the module are isolated, terminating individually. Two output types are available, including 6 Form A (SPST) and 2 Form C (SPDT).
As different power sources use this module, monitoring the voltages can prevent unnecessary device damage. When operating, a base power requirement of 9 V 37 mA/ON pt. (296 mA max), 24V is needed. The minimum load of the device measures at 100 mA at 12 VDC. Depending on the current used, operating voltage for F3-08TRS-2 is either 12 to 250 VAC or 12 to 30 VDC. Peak voltage for the device measures at 265 VAC or 120 VDC. Per point, the maximum resistive current is 4A AC/DC, with the entire module capable of sustaining up to 32A AC/DC.
Following outlined storage and installation parameters helps to maintain the integrity of the module. F3-08TRS-2 must be housed in a climate controlled facility, preventing the device from overheating or freezing. Sustainable operating temperatures for the module range from 0℃ to 60℃, or 32℉ to 140℉. When the device is not in use, ambient storage temperatures can range as low as -20℃, or -4℉, and as high as 70℃, or 158℉.
