About the F3-16TA-2
The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F3-16TA-2 is an AC output module. This sixteen channel device is a member of the DirectLogic 305 series of programmable logic controllers and modules. It features interfacing capabilities with all members of its series as well as various peripheral devices. Two commons act as the terminating point for all sixteen channels, with eight feeding to each common.
As the device features AC inputs and outputs, monitoring voltage levels can prevent it from overloading. F3-16TA-2 features an SSR Array (TRIAC) operating voltage, as well as a 20 to 125 VAC voltage. The peak voltage that the module can sustain registers at 140 VAC. A AC frequency of 47 to 63 Hz can be expected as well. Per input point, the maximum sustained current measures a 1.1 A. The module as a whole can support a maximum current of 0.7 mA at 125 VAC. Status indicators for the device can be found on the logic side of the unit.
Be sure to follow all installation and storage protocols to protect F3-16TA-2 from unnecessary damage. When operating, ambient temperatures should be monitored to maintain device integrity. Acceptable temperatures range from 0℃ to 60℃, or 32℉ to 140℉. Should the device be placed in storage, a climate controlled facility is ideal. Storage temperatures can fall as low as -20℃, or -4℉, and raise as high as 70℃, or 158℉. Refer to the user manual and device datasheet for all installation and wiring parameters. Technical support for this device was originally provided by the manufacturer, Automation Direct and Facts Engineering.
