Product Description

For the F4-04ADS, 4-Channel Analog Input Module, you must allow for 270 mA at 5 VDC (supplied by base) and 120 for external 24V when you plan the use of the points.

F4-04ADS specifications are provided in the following list.

• Environmental air quality specification: corrosive gases not permitted.

• Use the module in environments that are between the temperature of 0 and 60°C (32-140°F) and relative humidity between 5 to 95% (non-condensing).

• The weight of the F4-04ADS is 11.5 oz (326g).

• Differential input types only are included iin the F4-04ADS, 4-Channel Analog Input Module.

• The input voltages are always in the range of  0 to 7V, 0 to 10V, 1 to 5V, 5V, 10V, 0 to 20 mA, and 4 to 20 mA.

• 1 channel per scan is the PLC update rate maximum.

• The input points requirement is 12 binary data bits, 4 active channel indicator bits.

• DL405 system will accept the F4-04ADS in any slot.   

• The F4–04ADS Analog Input module must have access to 16 discrete input points from the CPU.

On the rear of the module are jumpers to configure the module. Use the jumpers to: configure the number of enabled jumpers, the value of the offset voltage, and set other configuration options.

The F4-04ADS, 4-Channel Analog Input Module contains valuable hardware features.

• The analog inputs are optically isolated from the PLC logic.

• Easily remove and install the terminal block.  

• Inputs are isolated channel-to-channel.

• The F4-04ADS supports four differential voltage or current inputs.
