About the F4-08TRS-1
The Automation Direct Facts Engineering Koyo F4-08TRS-1 is a relay output module. A member of the DirectLogic 405 series, this eight channel module interfaces with same series logic controllers and modules, as well as I/O peripheral devices. This module is a relay output, capable of producing both AC and DC loads. All outputs for the module are isolated relays, with each point terminating individually. Two output types are produced, 4 Form C (SPST) and 4 Form A (SPST-N0).
When operating a device that deals with voltages and currents, it is advised to monitor various impulse levels in the module. F4-08TRS-1 supports two operating voltages, depending on consumption selections. If operating the module in DC, an operating voltage of 12 to 30 VDC is supported, with a peak voltage of 30 VDC. Should the module operate in AC instead, operating voltages measure between 12 and 125 VAC with a peak voltage of 250 VAC. With the use of external fuses, this module can support an extended operating voltage of 125 to 250 VAC. An AC frequency of 47 to 63 Hz can be expected. The maximum resistive current each channel can support registers at 10A per point, while the entire unit can support 40A per module.
All provided storage and installation parameters should be followed to prolong the longevity of the module. F4-08TRS-1 is temperature sensitive and requires a climate controlled environment. When operating, temperatures can safely range from 0℃ to 60℃, or 32℉ to 140℉. Storage temperatures should also be taken into consideration, even when the device is not in use. Acceptable temperatures can fall as low as -20℃, or -4℉, and raise as high as 70℃, or 158℉. The user manual and device datasheet contains an illustrated installation and wiring guide.
