About the F4-08TRS-2
F4-08TRS-2 is a relay output module developed by Automation Direct, Facts Engineering, and Koyo. Developed for the DirectLogic 405 series, this eight channel module is capable of interfacing with DL405 programmable logic controllers as well as other peripheral devices. A relay output, this device produces both AC and DC output signals. All eight channels of the module are isolated relays that terminate individually. This module can produce two output types, 4 Form C (SPDT) and 4 Form A (SPST-N0).
Monitoring voltage and current levels of F4-08TRS-2will keep the device operating within its electrical limits. Depending on user selection this module offers two operating voltage levels. If using AC power, operating voltages can range from 12 to 250 VAC with an AC frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. DC power requires between 12 and 30 VDC. Peak voltages for AC measure at 250 VAC, while DC measures at 30 VDC. Each of the eight channels can support a maximum resistive current of 5A per point with the entire module capable of supporting 40A. A required 5V base power of 575 mA maximum or 60mA per point is needed to support all module functions.
Following all outlined storage and installation parameters will prevent any unnecessary damages to F4-08TRS-2. Temperature sensitivities dictate the need for a climate controlled housing environment. While the module is operating, ambient temperatures can fall no lower than 32℉, or 0℃, and raise no higher than 140℉, or 60℃. Storage temperatures can also affect the module, even when not in use. Temperatures can safely range from -4℉ to 158℉, or -20℃ to 70℃ when not in use. Refer to the user manual and device datasheet for a complete installation and wiring guide. The manufacturers provided original technical support for this device.
