About the F4-CP128-R
The F4-CP128-R Radio Modem CoProcessor Module contains 3 ports. Port 1 is a RS-232C, 57.6 Kbaud maximum, Port 2 is a 300/1200/2400 baud radio modem, and Port 3 is a RS-232C, 9600 baud maximum. The module contains 9 pin D-sub connectors for port 1 and port 3.
The modem is Bell 103/113/108, Bell 202, CCITT V.21, and V.23 compatible. BASIC statements are used to control the modem and communicate with external devices. Modem operation is selected by jumper placement for either a 2-wire or 4-wire connection. Communication at 300 baud full-duplex or 600/1200 baud half-duplex is achieved using a two wire interface. Full-duplex operation at 300 to 1200 baud is supported over a four wire interface. The power consumption is 350 mA at 5VDC. The operating environment is 0ºC–60ºC (32ºF–140ºF), 5% to 95% humidity (non-condensing). You can have a maximum of eight per DL405 and the F4-CP128-R Radio Modem CoProcessor Module can be installed in any I/O slot.
The F4-CP128-R Radio Modem CoProcessor Module is designed to interface with the DL405 programmable device. To enable full serial port utilization, you can program the module from port 1 or port 3 without the need to switch cables.
The ABM Commander for Windows software package comes packaged with the module. It comes on a CD. The software package enables you to perform on-line full-screen program editing.
A maximum of 128K bytes of non-volatile memory enables you to store multiple program storage and execution, DL405 register expansion, and retentive data storage and retrieval.
