The DMR-150Q-00 is one of the several barcode scanners from the industrial optics hardware manufacturer Cognex, and the unit is capable of analyzing, decrypting, and reading 1-D barcodes.
The DMR-150Q-00’s physical dimensions are standard throughout this entire line of products, in both possible configurations, the straight, standard in-line configuration, and the 90 degree right angle. The in-line dimensions are 43.1 millimeters x 22.4 mm x 55 (63) mm, while the right angle dimensions change only slightly, at 43.1 mm x 28.8 (35.8) x 49.3 mm. Their standard weight is 128 grams. These two separate configurations are able to see a detailed and wide view of the assembly line to pick up the codes needed for scanning, and are able to see up to a distance of 395 mm. These units have absolutely no need of an external viewing system, such as a complex maze of mirrors to get the exact angle needed.
The DMR-150Q-00, much like the rest of DataMan products, are completely made up of solid state components, and no laser or racter materials at all. This is to ensure that your barcode reader will last longer between repair sessions, since moving laser parts tend to break more often that solid state materials. The hardware included in the DMR-150Q-00 are things such as a switchable I/O port, an auto tune button, configurable custom lens options. Either 6.2 mm or 16 mm lens options work, each with additional cover options that come polarized and unpolarized.
