About the DMR-150X
DMR-150X
The DMR-150X is the most advanced of the 150 models. These 150 models are just one subgroup of Cognex’s line of DataMan products. These are fixed-mount, image based ID readers and barcode scanners, designed to have the capabilities of zone routing, tote scanning, and other applications that are within a short of medium range of its optic units. The DMR-150X is able to identify and analyze both 1-D and 2-D barcodes and matrix codes at high speed performances for assembly lines operating at speeds as fast as 300 feet per minute.
The 1-D barcodes that the DMR-150X are able to scan successfully can be damaged, warped, or poorly printed, on labels as small as 0.8 pixels per module thanks to the 1DMax software package, and the 2-D matrix codes are able to be read independently of printing quality or the printing location or even what they have been printed on. Even if there are large, important partial sections of the code is missing (such as the clocking and finder patterns, or a quiet zone) the DMR-150X will still be able to analyze and identify the 2-D code.
The DMR-150X has two physical configurations that allow for optimal placement in a variety of workspaces, the in-line variation, and the right angle variation. Both of them make it much easier to attach the model to a fixture for the best visuals. The in-line dimensions are 43.1 mm x 22.4 mm x 55 (63) mm, and the right angle configuration changes it to 43.1 mm x 28.8 (35.8) mm x 49.3 mm.
