About the DMR-152QL
DMR-152QL
One of the subcategories of the four models of this series, the Cognex DataMan barcode scanners. This scanner is programmed and installed with the code recognition software, 1DMax, including the Hotbars II package. These two pieces of software are able to decode and recognize labels that are printed as small as 0.8 pixels per module (ppm). The 1DMax software is able to understand and successfully read codes that may have labels that were printed with poor quality, or if they were damaged or warped in any way. The maximum decoding rate is 45 decodes per second.
The usual hardware that this model is outfitted with include a 1/3 inch CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) imager, capable of an image resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels, with a global shutter and 45 frames per seconds. The lens options are either a 6.2 millimeter lens, or a 16 millimeter lens.
The DMR-152QL model is composed of only solid state components, with no laser or raster materials at all. This means that the model requires repairs or replacement parts less often than if moving parts were used.
There are 4 discrete, opto-isolated inputs and outputs (2 of each), and 2 aimer LED units, and then a set of 5 indicator LEDs, with an additional beeper to help the user when it’s not in view.
There are two configurations for this unit, the in-line, with dimensions of 43.1 mm x 22.4 mm x 55 (63) mm, and then the right angle, with dimensions of 43.1 mm x 28.8 (35.8) mm x 49.3 mm.
