About the DMR-152X
DMR-152X
The most advanced model of the 152 category of the Cognex DataMan barcode scanners, the DMR-152X comes installed with both the 1DMax (with Hotbars II) and 2DMax code recognition and decoding software. The optical hardware this barcode reader is designed for has the options of either a 6.2 millimeter lens, or a 16 millimeter lens, which depends on the desired user specifications. Its ⅓ inch complementary metal/oxide semiconductor (CMOS) imager captures visuals at 1280 x 960 pixel resolution with its global shutter. The acquisition rate is 45 frames per second, and it’s decoding rate reads up to 45 codes per second as well.
The DMR-152X model’s hardware is made up of only solid state components, which makes it able to be repaired with less frequency than if it were integrated with moving parts, such as laser units or raster materials. There are two physical configurations, the standard in-line set up that the unit comes in, which gives it the dimensions of 43.1 millimeters x 22.4 millimeters x 55 (63) millimeters. Then, there’s also the 90 degree, right angle set up, giving it the dimensions of 43.1 mm x 28.8 (35.8) mm x 49.3 mm.
The DMR-152X is outfitted with a pair of green aimer LED lights, and a set of 5 indicator LEDs, which includes a beeper unit to alert the user in case the scanner is out of view. There are four opto-isolated, discrete input and output units, and the model is able to communicate with RS-232 and USB interface connections.
