About the DMR-260X-00
DMR-260X-00
This model is from the 260 line of the DataMan barcode reader modules from Cognex, the industrial optics and visual hardware company. The DMR-260X-00 model comes installed with the software algorithm 1DMax, along with the software bundle, Hotbars II, and is able to read omnidirectional 1-D, oriented 1-D codes, and stacked 1-D codes, and 2-D codes, which is done by the additional 2DMax software algorithm.
The standard dimensions of this model change between the two configurations that are possible, the in-line set, and the 90 degree, right angle set. The in-line dimensions are 43.1 millimeters by 22.4 millimeters by 64 millimeters, and then the right angle configuration changes it to 43.1 millimeters by 35.8 millimeters by 49.3 millimeters. Regardless of whether the in-line or right angle configuration is used, the weight from the aluminum frame and the IP-65 rated protective case is still 142 grams.
The usual hardware integrated into this barcode scanner are a series of LED lights, a set of two green lights intended for aiming, and then a set of five multicolored lights (white, red, blue, infrared, and a high powered red) which come included with a beeper alarm, to alert users on the status of the DMR-260X-00. There is a modular/field configurable lighting system integrated into the model, made up of four independently controlled, high powered LED lights, and includes band-pass and polarized filters.
The optics on the model can use either a 6.2 or 16 millimeter sized lens, and is able to maintain a 752 by 480 image resolution, and captures images at 60 frames per second.
