About the DM262X
DM262X
A subcategory of a category of a series. These products were all created and produced by the leading visual automation equipment developers and manufacturers, Cognex. They are all labeled under the series of barcode scanners and readers, the DataMan series. The units then have four classifications, designated with ID numbers: either 150, 152, 260, or 262. The DM262X models of the 262 designation are the most advanced. Not only are they capable of running the 1DMax software algorithms, with the Hotbars II unit, they are capable of running the additional 2DMax software. Given their names, this means they’re able to decode and analyze the 1-D and 2-D type barcode and matrix codes.
The 1-D codes that are able to be read are stacked, oriented, and omnidirectional 1-D codes, and can successfully be analyzed even if the labels have been lightly damaged or warped, and the 2-D codes can have sustained severe damage, even if chunks of the pattern are missing, such as the finder pattern or the clocking pattern.
These models are built completely with solid state materials only. No moving parts, such as rasters or lasers, at all, to help the models need less repair. Internally, the image sensor is a complementary metal/oxide semiconductor, and equipped with a global shutter capable of catching 45 frames per second.
There is an auto tune button embedded into the frame, a series of 5 indicator LEDs, as well as up to 6 discrete, isolated I/O units, (2 inputs, and 4 outputs).
