This product, for sale from our inventory at AX Control, is from a line of barcode scanners that were designed, developed, and produced by the industrial optical hardware manufacturers. This series of code readers and scanners is dubbed the DataMan readers, DMR, and then divided up into four separate designations: the 150 models, the 152 models, the 260 models, and then, where this product belongs, the 262 models. These four designations indicate the physical specifications of parameters that each unit has, such as the level of pixel resolution in the images captured, or the frame rate. Most of the external hardware specifications are level across the models, between the 150/152 and the 260/262.
The 262 model is outfitted with a 1/3 CMOS (Complementary Metal/Oxide Semiconductor) imager module, and captures visuals at an acquisition rate of 45 frames per second. The shutter installed into it is also a global shutter. There are two options for lens sizes. There’s a 6.2 millimeters lens, and then a 16 millimeter lens.
The communication hardware on the DMR-262Q-00’s exterior includes a series of 6 input/output modules,all of which (2 inputs and 4 outputs) are discrete and completely opto-isolated. Five multicolored LED lights (blue, red, white, infrared, and a second, high-powered red) are paired with a beeper alarm to alert a user visually and audibly of any changes in the model’s status or if any actions are being taken.
