About the DMR-262X-00
DMR-262X-00
This model of the DataMan code scanners was initially developed and produced by Cognex, a diverse manufacturing company of visual and optical assembly line parts and hardware.
The DMR-262X-00 model is made up of entirely solid state parts, as the rest of the units are. Moving parts, such as laser or raster based components, break with more frequency than solid state materials.
This model includes a set of 6 opto-isolated input and output units (2 input units and then 4 output units) and an RS 232 plug and an Ethernet interface. This model also includes a modular, field configurable lighting system, made up of four independently controlled, high powered LED lights. A band pass filter and optional polarized and unpolarized cover filters are available.
Software wise, the DMR-262X-00 is outfitted with both 1-D and 2-D code reading capabilities, thanks to the 1-D software 1DMax, including the Hotbars II package, which reads omnidirectional, oriented, and stacked 1-D barcode labels, even if any damage has occurred. The 2-D reading software, 2DMax, allows 2-D matrix codes to be scanned, regardless of label quality, damage level, or even if the code has been printed on the item itself.
This model successfully decodes at 45 decodes per second, and operates on inventory belts operating at speeds of up to 300 feet per minute. The CMOS image sensor captures images at a pixel resolution of 1280 x 960, and has a frame acquisition rate of 45 frames per second. The lens options are either a 6.2 mm or 16 mm sized lens.
