About the DMR-262X-1120-F
DMR-262X-1120-F
The DataMan line of Cognex barcode scanners and optical identifier modules is split into four numeric categories: the 150 series, the 152 series, the 260 series, and finally, the group that the DMR-262X-1120-F unit falls into, the 262 series.
The ID alphabetical designation of “X” indicates that this model is one of the more advanced of it’s category. The X models of the DataMan series are programmed with both the 1-D and 2-D software programs, 1DMax and 2DMax. The 1DMax software includes the Hotbars II package, and makes it possible for the DMR-262X-1120-F model to process 1-D barcodes that are stacked, oriented strangely, or omnidirectional. The 2DMax software allows for 2-D matrix codes to be fully scanned and analyzed. Both of the label types are still able to be scanned and read even if they have been damaged, warped due to poor quality label printing, or, in the 2-D codes case, even if the code has been printed onto the inventory itself.
The hardware is outfitted with six integrated input and output units, with 2 discrete, isolated input ports, and 4 discrete, isolated output ports. The DMR-262X-1120-F model also includes an RS 232 port and an Ethernet trigger interface. To indicate to the operator if there are any issues in its status, or what actions the model is presently carrying out, there is a set of five, multicolored LEDs, a white one, a blue one, an infrared one, and a pair of red LEDs, one of which is more high-powered than the other.
