Cognex and their In-Sight 2000 line of sensors allows industrial assembly line productions to acquire heavy-duty equipment to keep track of flaws in merchandise, and provides these companies with a device that can effectively and properly inspect, identify and measure product. The In-Sight 2000 series, with their durable, user-friendly bunch of vision sensors monitors and detects possible flaws and helps point them out to assembly workforce individuals, using the 5 LED lights on its frame, most notably, the Pass or Fail green/red LED.
Standard In-Sight 2000 dimensions apply to this product: the IS2000-130C’s aluminum alloy casing weighs 200 grams (7.05 ounces) and has a 92 millimeter length, 60 millimeter width, and is 52 millimeters tall (3.62 inches by 2.36 inches by 2.04 inches). The product’s average operating temperature ranges between 0°C - 40°C (32°F - 104°F), and produces under 95% humidity and produces no condensation whatsoever. The base of the frame includes four M3 threaded mount locks to attach the vision sensor to any acceptable surface, once the sensor has been assembled to the mount at a 15 degree angle. Two configurations are possible with the mount, the in-line configuration, and the right angle configuration. The reference guide also provides a visual of these mounting styles.
