Compact and well-protected, thanks to the IP65 designated aluminum body, the Cognex In-Sight 2000 mini model Installed with the In-Sight Explorer EasyBuilder, the Cognex VisionView PC software, and outfitted with the VisionView 900 Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch screen panel in order for users little to no experience with Cognex brand vision sensors to be able to use it without any trouble.
Capable of image modes of the 640 x 480 pixel resolution standard, but also capable of x4 magnification with an 800 by 600 resolution. One of the more advanced models in the IS2000 Minis series, with location tools that are able to find patterns, edges and circular details in product, and with inspection tools able to analyze patterns, brightness and contrast, with a grayscale pixel count. Even more detailed measurement tools are programmed into the system, able to measure distance, angles and diameter of products.
Standard lighting system is fully integrated into used modular red LED light rings requiring 48 watts of energy. Blue, infra-red, or white LEDs are compatible. Band-pass lens filters and polarizing covering are also compatible.
In order to physically configure the sensor to the needs of the workplace in mind, consult the Cognex In-Sight 2000 user manual, available in English and Chinese. There are two available angles of configuration, the in-line variant, and a right angle.
