About the IS5403
The minimum firmware requirement for the In-Sight IS5403 Vision System is In-Sight version 4.4.3. Before you install the IS5403, consider that the device must be supplied with 24VDC ±10% power at 500mA maximum.
The IS5403 contains 128MB non-volatile flash memory and unlimited storage through a remote network device. The image processing memory is 256 MB. The resolution is 1600x1200. The sensor type is 1/1.8-inch CCD. The weight is 350 g (12.3 oz.) with the lens cover installed and without the lens. The IS5403 features a die-cast aluminum housing.
The image bit depth of the In-Sight IS5403 Vision System is 256 grey levels (8 bits/pixel) at 14 full frames per second.
The In-Sight IS5403 Vision System contains the following ports, connectors, and cables.

The device supplies an Ethernet connection using an internal 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port.

An RJ-45 connector on the device provides the means for an Ethernet connection.

A RS-232C port is used for serial communications to many types of serial devices.

The breakout cable comes with the device. The breakout cable provides the connection for serial communications from the RS-232C port, and also power, trigger, and high-speed outputs.
The In-Sight IS5403 Vision System has the following LEDs.

Two user-configurable LEDs: Configure these LEDs to indicator activity the site wants to track.
The operating temperature of the IS5403 is 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F). The operating humidity is 95%, non-condensing (operating and storage). The Ingress Protection rating is IP67 (with appropriate lens cover installed). The vibration rating (shipping and storage) is 10 G from 10-510 Hz with 150 gram lens per IEC 68-2-6. The shock rating (shipping and storage) is 80 G shock with 150 gram lens attached per IEC 68-2-27.
