About the IS5410-R00
Overview
IS5410-R00 is a remote head vision-equipped In-Sight 5000 model produced by Cognex. Its main camera is identical to other 5410 models, meaning it possesses features such as a high frame rate of 60 full frames per second, a 1/3 inch CCD sensor, and a lower resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The feature that sets IS5410-R00 apart from other 5410s is the inclusion of the remote head camera.
Remote Head Camera Specifications
The remote head camera has a lens type compatible with C and CS-mounts, with a 5 millimeter extension included. It has an anodized, aluminum housing with an optional enclosure that you may put the camera in to protect from the elements with its IP67-level protection. It is highly compact, weighing in at 68 g or 2.4 oz without the lens. The frame rate is a bit lower and the shutter speed is a bit slower and more specific than the main camera, but the other specifications are largely similar. Some other notable features of the remote head camera are that acquisition gain of the remote head camera may be controlled via software and partial scan is supported.
