About the IS5615-00
The IS5615-00 model is a Vision System produced by Cognex Vision. This model features a 2/3-inch CCD sensor with sensor properties of 11.01 mm diagonal and 3.45 x 3.45-micrometer square pixels. The maximum resolution available with this system is 2448 x 2048 pixels. The typical location of this model is on the factory floor; when the model is used on the factory floor, it can perform a variety of applications; some of the applications that the system can perform are inspection, robot guidance, identification, and measurement applications. If during the operation of the model, the system needs to be configured, it can be done so through an intuitive user interface; in some cases, the model can be remotely configured over a remote network.
The IS5615-00 model can be connected to other network devices through ethernet cables. Several lengths can be used with this model; the lengths are all in meters, 0.6, 2, 5, 10, 15, and 30. Each of the cables has its own part number and 45 and 135-degree key right-angle parts, except for the 0.6-meter cable. There are also breakout and I/O cables that can be used with the IS5615-00 model. The lengths of the breakout cables are 2, 5, 10, and 15 meters and the lengths of the I/O module cables are also 2, 5, 10, and 15 meters. Each cabling type has the same key features.
Vision system IS5615-00 can be connected to three I/O modules; the CIO-1400, CIO-MICRO, and CIO-MICRO-CC modules. When the CIO-MICRO-CC module will add a CC-link networking capability. For more information refer to the CIO-MICRO and CIO-MICRO-CC installation guide.
