The image bit depth of the In-Sight IS5100 Vision System is 256 grey levels (8 bits/pixel) at 60 full frames per second. The minimum firmware requirement for the IS5100 is In-Sight version 4.4.3.
Before you install the IS5100C, consider that the device power consumption is 24VDC ±10% at 500mA maximum.
To install the In-Sight IS5100 Vision System, you must screw on the lens, firmly seat the breakout cable, load the configuration software on a networked laptop, and start the software to configure the device.
The IS5100 is surrounded in a die-cast aluminum housing. This means the device has protection from normal wear found in an industrial location. It doesn’t have protection from harsh corrosive chemicals, high heat, or excessive dust.

If possible remove all new hardware and software and return the device to the state the device was in when it was working properly. The includes hardware parts, device drivers, networking software, and network cables.

View the LEDs on the front. This can be a valuable tool.

When no power is supplied to the device, the power LED is OFF.

When the device is off and the power button does not work, the Power LED might blink fast.

The device is powered and is ready to turn on, the power LED might blink slowly.

When the device is functioning normally, the Power LED is On.
