4.4.3 is the earliest firmware you can use the In-Sight ISS-5411-000 Vision System is In-Sight device. At a minimum, make sure the firmware has that level firmware.
Before you install the ISS-5411-000, consider that the device must be supplied with 24VDC ±10% power at 500mA maximum. The In-Sight ISS-5411-000 Vision System features Power, Network Status, and Network Traffic indicator LEDs. It also contains two user-configurable indicator LEDs.
The LEDs on the front of the ISS-5411-000 provide valuable information about the functioning of the device. While powering up, the Power LED might blink while performing the start up procedure. This is normal and only lasts a few seconds. At this time, the device is not available for normal operation. Also, the Power LED might flash. This occurs during shutdown and the device performing the shutdown procedure. This happens when you press the power button.
The In-Sight ISS-5411-000 Vision System contains a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port. The port uses a RJ-45 connector.
If Ethernet connection is not functioning as expected, there are troubleshooting steps that you can take to rectify the situation.

Is the adapter receiving power and are all ports working as designed?

Are all cables connected securely and are they in good condition? That is, are they cracked or are the connectors damaged? This applies to the cable between the adapter and the network.

View the LEDs on the front. Do they indicate a problem?

Check all applicable configuration settings. Sometimes one minor setting can cause problems in the network.

Are the device drivers up-to-date and functioning properly. Check the version on the device. Locate any newer versions on the web and install them if appropriate. .
