About the ISS-5613-0000
The image bit depth of the In-Sight ISS-5613-0000 Vision System is 256 grey levels (8 bits/pixel) at 14 full frames per second. The minimum firmware requirement for the ISS-5613-0000 is In-Sight version 4.4.3.
Before you install the ISS-5613-0000, consider that the device power consumption is 24VDC ±10% at 500mA maximum.
Cabling the ISS-5613-0000 is critical and you must follow guidelines to ensure safety and reliability.
-
When you route cables, keep them clear of all all high-voltage power sources to prevent interference, power surges, and other conditions.
-
Make sure the bend radius or service loops are not too tight that they prevent the cables from bending excessively.
-
All cable connections should have service loops.
-
Inspect all cables and connections periodically. Look for cracks in the insulation and damage in the connectors. Make sure all connections are seated firmly.
As you plan the installation, make sure no laser light is near the device, or can point directly or indirectly at the CCD on the device. If a laser light is installed nearby, you can place a filter on the CCD to prevent damage. The filter must be rated to filter the wavelength of the light produced by the laser.
The aluminum housing of the device is connected to a ground wire on the breakout cable. The ground wire on the breakout cable is pin 8. It is identified as the brown wire in the cable. However, if the device is mounted in a surface that is not completed grounded, it is best practice to mount the device on a mounting space that is isolated or is non-conducting.
