About the IS7200-11
IS7200-11 is a Cognex camera that is part of the InSight Vision System. This is a digital industrial vision camera with 512 MB non-volatile flash memory, 500kpixel SVGA resolution, and unlimited storage via a remote network device. The IS7200-11 is part of the Cognex In-Sight 7000 series. This unit requires a supply voltage of 24 VDC.
The image processing memory is 256 MB SDRAM. The sensor ia a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with a 5.3 mm diameter. The sensor is 5.3 x 5.3 µm sq. pixels. The camera resolution is 800 x 600 pixels. The electronic shutter speed is 16µs to 950ms. The acquisition is rapid reset, progressive scan, and full-frame integration. The bit depth is 256 grey levels at 8 bits/pixel. The camera operates at 102 full frames per second. The lens type is an M12 or C-mount.
Graphs for the FOV and working distance for each of the autofocus lenses are available in the user installation manual for this series. The gain setting for this series is slightly different than it is on the In-Sight 5000 and the In-Sight Micro. It is a different imager. The gain range is the same for this particular series, but the initial settings are different. There is not a serial cable contained in this series. There are, however, power and I/O breakout cables, just as there are in the In-Sight 5000 series and in the In-Sight Micro series. An external light cable is needed in this series because there is not a built-in pigtail on all of the external lights in the series. CCB-M12LTF-xx is the part number for the external light cable.
The IS7200-11 offers 8-pin M12 Ethernet, 5-pin M12 Supply, and 12-pin M12 Breakout connectors.
