About the IS7402-11
IS7402-11 is a Cognex camera that is part of the InSight Vision System. With a remote network device attached, this unit may hold unlimited storage and up to 512 MB of non-volatile flash memory. 256 MB SDRAM is the image processing memory. The sensor ia a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with a 5.3 mm diameter. The sensor is 5.3 x 5.3 µm sq. pixels. 800 x 600 pixels is the resolution of this specific camera in the InSight Vision System. 16 µs to 950 ms is the electronic shutter speed. The acquisition is rapid reset, progressive scan, and full-frame integration. The bit depth is 256 grey levels at 8 bits/pixel. The camera operates at 102 full frames per second. The lens type is an M12 or C-mount.
The M12 lens is suitable for high resolution measurement. A telocentric lens or a higher megapixel lens may be required for the specific application. No spacers or extension tubes are used by the integrated autofocus mechanism, and spacers and extension tubes may not be added. Cognex offers five M12 lenses in the In-Sight 7000 series. The integrated M12 autofocus mechanism has a mechanical life cycle of 350,000 full cycles. 4 inputs are available on the In-Sight 7000. These inputs include 3 general purpose inputs and 1 acquisition trigger inputs. There are also 4 outputs available on the In-Sight 7000. There is also a serial port (no hardware handshake). The CIO-MICRO expansion uses a LAN connection to provide 8 inputs and 8 outputs (all general purpose). If you have any questions regarding this series, please contact AX Control.
