About the IS8200
IS8200
Clocking in at a minute 31 millimeters in length, 31.2 millimeters in width, and standing 75.1 millimeters tall, the IS8200 is the entry standard of the Cognex In-Sight 8000 line of automation monitoring cameras.
With 1.024 gigabytes of memory, evenly split into 512 megabytes of job and program memory, and 512 megabytes of image processing memory, the IS8200 has a network speed on 1G (1000)/100/10 Mbps, and a pair of red and green LED lights to display the network connectivity.
In order to properly monitor and record assembly staff handling merchandise and detect flaws and recognize and verify product barcodes, the IS8200 has Cognex patented software installed in it, PatMax, and the optional PatMax RedLine. PatMax runs the flaw detection subroutines, and the IS8200 has a built in barcode scanner for 1-D and 2-D barcodes. The IS8200 captures image and video in both monochrome and full color, and at 217 frames per second (on monochrome models) or 135 frames per second (on color models). This model’s image resolution is in 640 by 480 pixels, not as high-quality as their other series, but makes up for it with the speedier frame rate. The sensor on the camera requires a 1 by 1.8 inch lens, with a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and a global shutter.
At the base of the IS8200, a quartet of M3 threaded holes are there in order for an accessory C mount to be attached to other surfaces, as to allow for advantageous placement.
