This smart camera processes information at twice the rate of other In-Sight Micro 8000 camera, and can be transferred at high speeds thanks to their IO ports.

In order to view and record with such high quality, the IS8400C is equipped with a CMOS (complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) global shutter sensor, with a color image resolution of 640 by 480 pixels, at 135 frames per second. Network status is displayed on the camera unit by a pair of user configurable Indicator LED lights, green and red.

This unit comes loaded with Cognex’s patented software, PatMax, and the additional option, PatMax RedLine, utilized in flaw detection and monitoring.

The usual size of the In-Sight line’s merch is a length of 31 millimeters, a width of 31.2 millimeters, and a height of 75.1 millimeters, or 1.22 inches in length, 1.23 inches in width, and 2.95 inches in height. Weighing at 132.2 grams, or 4.66 ounces. It’s ocular point is given a lens size of 1 inch by 1 and 4/5ths of an inch. (1.8 inches). The only acceptable mount this unit can be paired with is a C Mount, and when the camera is attached to the mounting block, the dimensions increase by eight millimeters (0.32 inches) in length.
