The IS8400M-373-50’s hardware is intended for area scanning on industrial assembly lines and warehouses installed with a monochromatic display set. Developed with a 1/1.8 inch wide sensor for 640 x 480 resolution at approximately 217 frames per second. A C-mount holds the IS8400M-373-50 model, and a Gigabit Ethernet interface is the only acceptable trigger for the 1 entry port. There are 2 output ports capable of high-speed transfer, and a 1-D and 2-D barcode tracker, and OCR/OCV.

The IS8400M-373-50’s includes supporting tools such as Cognex’s patented software ensemble, PatMax, used for Flexible Flaw Detection Capabilities, as well as EasyBuilder, Spreadsheet, and JavaScript—used to create repeating processor routines.
