About the ISM1400-01
Designed as one of the many In-Sight Micro Series Vision Systems the ISM1400-01 unit is one of the units not directly equipped with PatMax outright but due to the extended toolset please note it is possible that this unit could be equipped with PatMax if the user wishes to configure the PatMax on the device. The typical speed rating associated with this model is 10x, please note that this model's speed rating is compared to that of the ISM 1020 model, which does not have a typical image acquisition rate. The frames per second or acquisition rate of this model, which is based upon the minimum exposure as well as a full image frame capture, is in the range of sixty frames per second.
There are two high-speed outputs that correlate to the operation of the ISM1400-01 model; these outputs are optically isolated and will typically be used as current sourcing (PNP) or current sinking (NPN) lines. In relation to the NPN lines, the external load must be attached between the positive voltage supply and the output itself. With PNP lines that external load will be connected through the negative voltage supply and the output itself. More information regarding these high-speed outputs can be found on page twenty-two of the In-Sight Micro Series Vision System Manual. Configuration information for the PNP and NPN lines will be found on page twenty-three of the same manual mentioned previously.
A multitude of precautions must be taken during and after the installation as well as during operation. One of the main precautions that must be taken is to limit the exposure of the ISM1400-01 model to harsh environments which includes but is not limited to excessive vibration, corrosive substance, humidity, and more.
