About the ISM1402-11
Best used in applications where alignment and pick and place guidance functions are performed, model ISM1402-11 can do this and more. This model can help reduce the need for exorbitant fixturing and allows for an improved generation of flexible manufacturing.
The 1402 models are one of the models within the In-Sight Micro Series that do not have a color bit-depth and only have eight bits per pixel. This model does feature a high frame rate for which the standard frame rate is sixty full frames per second. It should be noted that the amount of image sensor rows can be adjusted as needed when the rows are decreased it will increase the acquisition rate.
There are network communications required to properly operate the ISM1402-11 model. There is one Ethernet port on this device, which is a 10/100 Base T port with an included auto MDI/MDIX feature; static and link-local IP address configurations are also features included with the network communications.
There are two optically isolated high-speed outputs on the ISM1402-11 vision system. These two outputs are generally used as current sourcing (PNP) or current sinking (NPN) lines. When being used as an NPN line the external load of the device must be connected between the positive supply voltages and the output. All related information pertaining to these outputs is found on pages twenty-two to twenty-four of the In-Sight Micro Installation Manual which was published recently in October of 2022.
