Model number ISM1403-11 is one of the high-resolution models within the In-Sight Micro Vision Systems as it has a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. The minimum firmware required to properly operate this unit is the same as the 1020/1050, 1100C, 1100/1110, 1400C, and 1400/1410 modules. The firmware needed is In-Sight version 4.4.3. The electronic shutter speed on this model matches the 1413 and 1403C models and is fifty-two microseconds to one-thousand milliseconds. This model is just a standard greyscale model and does not have any color bit-depth; the bit depth for this model is eight bits/pixel or alternatively known as two hundred fifty-six grey levels. 

One special feature associated with using the ISM1403-11 vision system is its ability to be used with an In-Sight Track and Trace model. When the Track and Trace and In-Sight modules are used together they have the ability to create a data verification and final identification solution for serialized labels on medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging. 

Prior to installing this model take precautions regarding the installation location, this model should not be installed in places where excessive moisture, humidity, dust, vibration, or flammable or corrosive substances, are abundant. Please be sure that at no point during operation should the image sensor on the ISM1403-11 model come into contact with laser light, exposing the sensor to laser light can damage the sensor entirely, whether through reflected or direct light from the laser. If the chosen application of the ISM1403-11 model requires that a laser light be used, use a lens filter at the corresponding laser wavelength to dissuade any damage.
