Frequently Asked Questions about P12-PC104
How is the P12-PC104 different from the CTC Parker Automation P11-PC104 PC/104 Installation Kit?
The P12-PC104 is similar to the PC11-PC104 in that both models function as an installation kit for P1 CTC Parker power stations. They also both help with installation of PC/104s to the power stations, as additional hardware options that can either be factory installed or user installed following the purchase of the power station in question. The difference between these two models is that the P11-PC104 is designed to aid with installation of a single PC/104, where as the P12-PC104 is designed to aid with the installation of two PC/104 cards to the parent power station CTC Parker Automation module. The two PC/104 cards can be installed in a stacked formation with the aid of four mounting holes located in the corner of each P/104 card. These mounting holes can be aligned and affixed to teach other with the use of standoffs. This mounting configuration benefits the unit by allowing size to remain compact and by reducing any potential vibration or shock to the boards during operation. The P1 power stations have a vibration listed at 10-150 Hz, 1G and a shock at 10G (11 msec in operating conditions) and 30G, 11 msec in non-operating conditions.
