Frequently Asked Questions about P13-PC104
What is the function of a P13-PC104 for the CTC Parker Automation P1 and P1H power stations?
The P13-PC104 is a kit to describe installation of three PC/104 cards to the parent power station. There are also installation kits for two cards or one PC/104 card as well. These hardware accessories can either be installed in the factory or installed by the end user. The operating conditions for a CTC Parker Automation P1 or P1H power station are pretty lenient. These power stations can operate in a temperature range from 0-45 C and in a humidity saturation of 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity conditions. There is also vibration that occurs during operation. The units are tolerable to 10-150 Hz of vibration. During operating conditions they are listed with a shock value of 10G, 11 msec operating and 30 G, 11 msec non-operating. For three PC/104 cards to remain sound during these types of operating conditions, their mounting configuration is key. These three boards are designed to be installed in a stackable configuration if necessary as opposed to a single row of three cards. The stackable configuration reduces the potential vibration and flexion of the cards that may damage their function during operating conditions.
